Pin Point is an unincorporated community in Chatham County, Georgia, in the United States; it is located southeast of Savannah, Georgia. Pin Point is part of the Savannah Metropolitan Statistical Area.〔(Pin Point, Georgia )〕
The town is best known as the birthplace of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas on 23 June 1948.
A rural settlement founded by freed slaves after the American Civil War, Pin Point is wide and long.
Pin Point is a small, predominantly African American community that has a well-established group of Gullah speakers. The historic creole language of the Low Country was drawn extensively from West African languages, and it continues to grow, change and develop today.
